"Evolution of Birds"
"Evolution of Birds" is a sequential sculpture of twelve stages in the evolution of birds from amoeboid to turkey vulture, about 22' in length, which is on the introductory wall to the walk-in aviary at the Arizona/Sonora Desert Museum in Tucson. The piece is made of mixed metals. The creatures which had lived in the water environment have been nickel-plated.
