My policy is to refund deposits should any commission fail to meet the client's expectations. Over the years there has only been one such instance. Prices vary from venue to venue as little as possible. Some variation is unavoidable, since, at an art festival I may have no commission to pay, and at a gallery may have to give as much as 50%. No wholesale.
